Slushy Spiked Cider

Fall is here and with it so many tasty treats! From pumpkin bread to apple pie, it’s endless. I always look forward to fresh pressed apple cider. When my brother and I were little, we loved going to the pumpkin patch to pick out our soon-to-be jack-o-lantern. But what was equally as exciting, was the fresh cinnamon donuts and ice-cold apple cider we got at Fall City Farms afterwards. What can I say, food is the glue of our family. The apple cider was kept in a freezer, and waiting for it to thaw just enough to gulp some down was near impossible.

Now that we are older, we still make the trip out to Fall City Farms, but our mission is slightly different. We buy gallons of their honey crisp apple cider, and nothing is better, especially with a little help from southern comfort or a little whiskey.
